Good morning everyone, today’s post is a beauty one and is all about the eyes with Chanel LES 4 OMBRES. Now this is my least used make-up product as for many years I have just not bothered with eyeshadows. I still don’t on a regular basis but recently I have come to admire a few palettes, quads and decided to try them out. There are a hand full of brands where I could use all their products to create a full face of makeup. Chanel is one of those brands for me, I know that I could walk up to the counter and choose almost all of their makeup range (what a wonderful dream that is) and walk away feeling pleased with myself. As I know that when I apply these products I will not be disappointed.
CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES 268 – CANDEUR ET EXPÉRIENCE
So lets begin with this Chanel quad palette that I am loving. These quad eyeshadow palettes are absolutely one of my favourites on the entire makeup market. Season after season, Chanel manages to bring out a new range of shades that work so beautifully as full makeup looks and on top of that they are gorgeous too look at!
My quad palette features the most advanced innovation to enhance creativity. Its optimised formula unites a soft texture and an easy application to achieve maximum colour that is consistent, luminous and lasts all day long. The shades I have gone for are matt as thats what I prefer, but they have a variety of effects in the form of satiny, iridescent or metallic. The packaging is so pretty as with all Chanel products, the quad comes in a practical and portable black lacquered case with a large mirror.
HOW TO USE
The Chanel LES 4 OMBRES is so easy to use as it comes with instruction. This is rather helpful for someone like me who rarely applies eyeshadow. Each of the palettes are composed of, two medium shades to blend together or apply in contrast. Then you have one dark shade to intensify, sculpt and add depth. The other one is a light shade to illuminate and give the eyes a wide-open effect. You can apply LES 4 OMBRES in four different ways. So whether you go for a natural, intense, sophisticated or a smokey eye you will not disappointed as the four eyeshadows blend beautifully.
The soft colours really stay in place and are very pigmented so a little does go a long way and like I said before they are really easy to blend which is always a must for me! If you are someone who applies eyeshadows using your fingers rather than a brush you will find the shadows to be very soft to touch. What more can I say, I really can’t fault Chanel for their LES 4 OMBRES quad palette.
