With all the parties to attend why not go festive with some glitter nails. I am not one for glitter normally, however, a little glitter on my nails I can deal with. You never know I may one day decide to wear more glitter and sparkle so watch this space. I came a cross this gold glitter nail polish whilst I was browsing in Boots and thought it would be ideal for this time of year.
Glitter Nail Polish: So to give my nails that festive vibe I am going to wear this gorgeous gold nail polish. This one is from Bourjois Paris and is very easy and quick to apply. Its one-coat gel formula is enriched with silicon. Therefore giving the nails that ultra glossy result. Also the fan-effect brush adapts to the size of each nail for an ultra quick, neat and groomed result in just one second, with a single stroke. Its not all about the dress the details matter too in my opinion. So what are you waiting for, get your nails noticed and dance the night away!
Bees Jewellery: Staying with the gold theme I opted for my gold accessories. These costume jewellery earrings, bangle and ring are very affordable and work very well with the glitter nails. I tend to wear them rarely as they only go with certain outfits. It was only fitting to get them out and get them to make an appearance for the New years Eve party. They are from a shop called Bees and my wonderful sister purchased them for me.
I couldn’t travel to the shop around that time and was looking for some gold costume jewellery and everything I saw was not what I had in mind. She sent me a picture of the earrings as thats all I was looking for and asked me if these were what I had in mind. I was delighted as they were close enough too what I was looking for and I had just exhausted my self by looking online for some earrings. I told her to get them, and she got me the bangle and the ring as they were part of a set.
Gucci Watch: Then to my trusted gold Gucci watch which I always wear on a regular basis. Such a cute little watch that goes with any outfit and now will go with my other accessories too. I have had this watch for nearly twenty years and is very sentimental to me as it is a gift from my husband. Most of the time my watch is mistaken for a bracelet as the straps are thin enough to pass as a one. I tend to wear my watch instead of the bangle most of the time.
Dermaroller: To get my skin ready I got this derma roller to try out. Lets see if it lives up to all the hype, I really hope it does. So far it has been used three times, so it is still early days for any results. My main reason for purchasing this dermaroller is for the slight discolouration on my cheek. More importantly it is to get rid of those pesky bags under my eyes. I will be thrilled if it does actually reduce my bags as that is my main area of concern. I shall give you an update later on after some more usage. Will let you know how I get on and whether or not there is any improvements to my skin or the dreaded bags!
Crimson Noir by Tom Ford: For some pop of colour on my lips I shall be wearing this gorgeous red lipstick. Although not a deep dark red it still has an incredibly smooth texture that glides on the lips almost effortlessly. If you like the stain effect then one swipe is pigmented enough to wear on its own. I prefer two swipes to make it a full-on deep red that I am custom to wearing. The finish is satin, with a tiny amount of gloss which keeps it from being a full-on matte.
Black Orchid by Tom Ford: This is an elegant fragrance which is long lasting and smells of pure luxury. A luxurious fragrance that will last all day and night long. Such a big admirer that I have also bought another one as a present for my friend. Now all that is left is to pick the dress I shall be wearing. There are a few options so lets see which one I decide to opt for!
