Quince Top Ten F/W Staples for 2025

Quince Top Ten F/W Staples for 2025

I’ve been receiving a number of requests to share my top picks for Fall/Winter from Quince, so figured why not pull together an edit of my top ten for 2025. At this point, I have a glut of favourites from the brand. I’ve tried so many of their tried and true staples, and identified the ones that are real stand outs (in my eyes, at least).

So let’s run through mini reviews of the ten pieces that are at the top of my list from their Fall Favourites which I don’t think you can go wrong with.

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater

Wearing size S

One of my all time favourite pieces from the brand, evidenced by the fact that it’s ended up in my most worn pieces (by the numbers) for the season. It has a doubled over collar, and loose relaxed fit through the body and sleeves. This washes and wears well though like all natural fibre knits, you can expect some level of maintenance. I recommend buying a cashmere comb or sweater rake if you don’t have one already. Fits true to size for a slouchy fit.

Measures 67cm underarm to underarm to underarm and is 60cm long.

Quince Mongolian Cashmere Oversized V-Neck Sweater

Wearing size S

An underrated style I’ve not seen anyone talk about, this is a great sister style to the Oversized Cashmere Crew if you prefer a v-neckline. For comparison sake, the Oversized V-Neck Sweater runs a little longer through the body, covering the bum so it’s a good option to style alone with leggings. Also works really well tucked into denim or trousers as the knit isn’t too chunky. The cashmere is really beautiful, and the thick ribbed trim at the collar is a nice added detail. Fits true to size for a relaxed fit; I would recommend sizing down for petites.

Measures 66cm underarm to underarm to and is 68cm long.

Quince Double-Faced Merino Wool Scarf Coat

Wearing size S

If you’re a long-time admirer of Toteme, then there’s no doubt that you’ll have seen some variation of this scarf coat before. For me, it’s the exceptional value that this delivers that makes it a top ten autumn staple from the brand. The double faced merino wool feels smooth to the touch, while also acting as a solid insulating layer against the elements. I love the whipstitch trim as it adds this traditional heritage touch and acts as a real point of contrast. Me being me, I’m always thinking about ways I’d improve something, and my only feedback here is I wish that the scarf were detachable… and a touch longer too for that drama. It looks nice worn both open (with the scarf draped to each side), or with it swept across one shoulder. Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. If you’re petite you may like to consider sizing down one.

Measures 58cm underarm to underarm and is 74cm long.

Quince Bella Stretch Relaxed Straight Jeans

Wearing size 26, inseam 28

If you like a good “comfort stretch” jean, then Quince’s denim line up is worth taking a second look at. Of all the silhouettes, my personal favourite is the Bella straight style; universally flattering, and offered up in four different inseam options which makes you feel a little spoilt for choice. I’m wearing the colour “stormy blue” here, which is the perfect dark blue rinse with some subtle fading across the thigh. The denim itself has some sturdiness to it, but plenty of stretch so think of these as jeans you can actually move in. Perfect if you have young kids as they don’t restrict movement (IYKYK). I find they fit true to size. I stick to my usual denim size 26.

Measures 36cm across the waist laid flat, rise measures 25cm, and inseam is 71.5cm inseam or 28 inches (on the 28 inseam version – essentially, inseam length provided is accurate!).

Quince Italian Wool Oversized Blazer

Wearing size S

The OGs will know that one of my all time favourite wardrobe additions is an oversized wool blazer from Everlane. This one, to be exact. I was thrilled when I spied Quince offering up their own remarkably similar take, albeit at a lower price point. The key difference between the two is the fabric composition, which is a wool and poly blend on the Quince while it’s 100% wool on the Everlane version, though to touch the Quince version you wouldn’t know there’s any synthetic in there. It has that very traditional wool tactile quality to it on the hand. Comfortable to wear which is aided by the interior lining. There’s a small amount of the woollen fabric exposed to the skin but your base layer should avoid any potential irritation for those with sensitivities. Fits true to size for a relaxed fit. I wouldn’t recommend sizing down.

Measures 54cm underarm to underarm and is 74cm long.

Quince Italian Wool Straight Leg Pants

Wearing size US2

Another favourite tailored piece are their Italian Wool trousers. These are so beautiful, and feel like a real step up from the crepe trousers also offered on the site. Perhaps my favourite little detail is the elasticated waist back – these look smart from the front but have the hidden benefit of a bit of stretch at the waist (which I’ll never say no to!). They’re a full length pant so I do find them a little on the longer side. Petites would want to get these hemmed. My experience is that Quince pants/skirts run on the larger side; I have the US2 which fits closer to a traditional size US4. Would recommend sizing down one.

Measures 36cm across the waist unstretched and 39cm across waist fully stretched, has a 30.5cm rise, and the inseam measures 77cm long.

Quince Stretch Cotton Jersey Fitted Long Sleeve T-Shirt

Wearing size S

This is a basic, but one that I really enjoy wearing. It’s a cotton stretch – so blended with a little elastane – which feels robust and sturdy against the skin but with the smoothness of a largely cotton piece. Solid base layers like this are always good to have tucked away in your closet as they tend to form the foundation of an outfit. Cut very close to the body, it adds an insulating layer without the bulk. Fits true to size.

Measures 41cm underarm to underarm and is and 51cm long.

Quince 100% Washable Silk Maxi Skirt

Wearing size S

The skirt that’s so good I have it not just in one, but five (!!) colours. That’s saying something. These washable silk skirts were part of the original line up when Quince launched (as Last Brand), and they’re a solid best seller for a reason. They’re easy to care for, and the cut is flattering too. I appreciate the thick elasticated waist band which is soft and stretchy but not flimsy. It has a bit of firmness to it but doesn’t cut in, if you know what I mean. I do think that the cut is a little more generous than typical sizing but I think going with your usual size is best if you tend to fluctuate/bloat throughout the day. Only thing to keep in mind is that this is a lightweight piece so it’s hard to tuck things in without it creating a visible line.

Measures 36cm across the waist laid flat, 59cm across the hip and is 109cm long.

Quince Italian Leather Mini Barrel Shoulder Bag

You’d be forgiven for thinking that the bag I was going to mention was this one here. Which I absolutely adore, and to date goes down as one of my best ever purchases from the brand. But, there’s a new kid on the block which I’ve been wearing on repeat and just had to share as I’m sure it’ll pique the interest of many of you. This little mini barrel bag; very reminiscent of The Row’s 90s bag, but at a fraction of the price. Coming in at just shy of $120 USD, the value for money is unrivalled. The smooth leather feels really beautiful, and has already started to soften up nicely, while the sueded interior gives the bag an unintended luxe boost. Hidden inside is a small zip up pouch attached to a leather strap which you can remove. Great for keeping those smaller essentials tucked away and secure. The zip up closure pulls smoothly, and it’s handy having the adjustable belt style strap as you can easily lengthen/shorten in a pinch. I have mine on the longest setting which comfortably fits over chunky knits and coats. Base of the bag is flat too – leaning into that minimal feel while being practical at the same time. Already eying it up in chocolate.

Quince Italian Leather Stretch Sock Bootie

Wearing size US10

Final favourite that I had to include in this round up is a pair of stretch leather heeled boots. Quince footwear is another one of those underrated categories, and as someone with wide feet I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well they accomodate my foot. Plus, no break in required! These tick all those boxes while also being really comfortable, even standing for longer periods. The leather is beautiful and soft, and the zipper pull is very smooth. You will get a bit of scrunching of the leather, but this isn’t a deal breaker I don’t think. Love that the toe isn’t quite round or almond – it sits somewhere in between. Quince sizing is true to size and I always opt for a US10 which is their equivalent of an EU40.
