June Favourite Beauty Picks

So here are this months favourite products that I have been using, of course there will be a few from last month in here too!

To start off with NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser with SPF, the weather this month has been at an all time high so its good to have a tinted moisturiser with SPF in it. NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is super sheer and translucent. It gives the skin a beautiful healthy glow. Leaving it looking natural, but brighter, fresher and healthier-looking than ever before.

I love this product as it has a wonderful scent! I personally prefer lighter foundations and this one is very light and creamy. If however you like more of a coverage then this might not be for you, although I’m sure you could build it up with a second application. It is super easy to blend, I use my fingers, or a beauty blender depends on what I feel like using. The foundation smooths out evenly with any form of application. It sets to a nice dewy finish and allows my skin to show through. If your skin is normally oily then you may want to set it with some powder. I love this product and will definitely repurchase again and again.

Rimmel Exaggerate Black Eyeliner: This is a highly pigmented liquid formula which delivers a bold eye look. I use this nearly everyday, my must have product, I really do love a cat-eye flick. I can’t remember how many times I have repurchased this. It is at a reasonable price for a drug store product. The maximum control applicator helps to create a smooth and precise line around the eye contour. It is a smudge-proof, long lasting product that lasts all day.

Obey Your Body Mineraux  Paris Hand and Body Lotion: This light-weight, luxurious hand and body lotion offers skin softening and hydrating treatment. It is made with a combination of plant extracts, natural oils and revitalising minerals found only in the Dead Sea. This is a hydrating formula featuring a unique blend of caring ingredients. Its is easily absorbed, light, non-greasy and one that quickly seeps into your skin. Leaves the skin feeling smooth, fresh and soft. It comes in three different scents, Kiwi, Ocean and Paris. I chose Paris as that’s the scent I preferred the most out of the three.

Sheer Moisture Curl Enhancing smoothie with Silk protein and Neem oil: Defines your curls, reduces frizz and smooths hair for a soft, silky feel. The coconut and Neem oils restore moisture and creates brilliant shine. It conditions your hair without weighing it down, leaving your curls healthy and bouncy!  I tend to focus more on the ends of my hair as thats the driest part. I have coloured hair which tends to dry out a lot specially when the weather is hot and humid. So all us ladies with curly hair this is absolutely wonderful, however, make sure you only use a small amount of the product to work through your hair, or else it will leave your hair looking very greasy.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water: Micellar Cleansing Water is an easy way to remove your make-up, it cleanses and purifies the skin, eye area and lips in one easy step. I still like to rinse my face with water, that’s just something I personally like to do. I have been using micellar water for a while now and I have always used the blue bottle so I can’t really compare it with the other two products. It is very handy for staying out overnight. I highly recommend it, great value for money and no complaints from me.

MAC Prep and Prime Transparent Finishing Powder: This is an extremely lightweight, sheer and silky setting powder. I tend to use this during the summer months, so my face isn’t looking too shiny. I love a dewy finish but no one wants a shiny oily face. I start by applying it on my my t-zone and then lightly dusting it over the rest of my face. A little powder goes a long way! It has a beautiful finish and gives you an airbrushed finish that lasts all day and night. For those of us who have a few fine lines, this does not settle into them. All in all a great product and one I would buy again!

NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer: I’m sure it is the same for many of you! What more can I say than the fact the it is just awesome, so smooth and light. One product I will repurchase over and over again and will appear in all my favourite picks!

Laura Mercier Bronze Mineral Powder: This can be used as a buildable foundation or a pigmented powder and has SPF15 in it. I tend to use it as a bronzer just on my cheeks to give a slight hint of colour. It has lasted me a very long time as I only use a small amount of the product. It has a lightweight texture and feels fresh leaving your skin looking ready to go. It’s quick and easy to apply, lasts for the majority of the day. If you have blemishes on your skin you could try the camouflage duo concealer from Laura Mercier and then use this as a finish. A Brilliant multitasking product which is great value for money.

Tom Ford Sable Smoke Lipstick: It has an ultra-creamy texture and an incredibly smooth application. The texture of the lipstick is semi matte and the formula is comfortable and non drying. The lipstick has a slight sheen to it and feels very hydrating on the lips. The packaging is just so beautiful, and the lipstick just glides on effortlessly. I tend to use my finger to dab it on and build it up for a more intense colour. It is perfect for day and night looks.

Jean Paul Gaultier Classic Intense Eau de Parfum: My first ever perfume purchase was the original Jean Paul Gaultier Classique. It is very nostalgic for me and takes me back to my university days! Although this one has a slight twist to it, it is the modern interpretation of the classic. Classique Intense therefore consists of two separate units, 40% of the fragrance is the original creation, and 60% is new added components. For me the scent still has that nostalgic affect and I love the iconic bottle!
